The New menu under the File menu gives access to two menu items
that allow you to create a new GenuTax taxpayer file, or a new tax return within a taxpayer file.

The items in this menu are:
Taxpayer File
allows you to create a new GenuTax taxpayer file.
Tax Return
allows you to create a tax return within an already opened taxpayer file.
